The training first explained the revision of GB2760-2024 "National Standard for Food Safety, Standard for the Use of Food Additives" through theoretical preaching, helping food production units understand the changes and significance of the new standard, master the latest requirements of the standard, and avoid production risks caused by deviations in standard understanding. At the same time, the legal liability of production units suspected of "two super and one non" use of food additives was popularized.

Subsequently, the relevant person in charge of the Market Supervision Bureau of Jiang'an District rearranged and redeployed the special project rectification of the use of food additives and the special project rectification of meat products in violation of laws and regulations. Combined with the typical cases of "water-retaining shrimp" exposed on March 15 this year and the problems found in the supervision of the jurisdiction in recent years, through the analysis and explanation of the cases, strengthen the role of warning education and improve risk awareness.

The meeting emphasized that food producers and operators are the first responsible persons for the compliance of additives. Enterprises should improve the management system, implement the requirements of "five special management" of food additives, and establish and improve the whole process of procurement, use and testing. And regularly organize training and assessment of practitioners to ensure that operators accurately grasp the specifications for the use of additives. Enterprises should implement the main responsibility of food safety, establish and improve the "Risk Prevention and Control List" according to actual science, and implement the "daily control, weekly investigation, and monthly dispatch" system.
