1 Introduction

After edible animals are slaughtered, the freshness of meat will gradually decrease due to their own factors and the influence of the surrounding environment during transportation, storage and sales, and even rot and deteriorate. This kit can detect the freshness of meat in a short time.

2 Detection Principle

During the spoilage process of meat, due to the formation of a large amount of creatinine, the environment becomes significantly alkaline. The globulin in the meat is dissolved in the meat immersion solution in the alkaline state, and then combined with the heavy metal ions in the reagent to form a protein salt and precipitate, so as to judge the freshness of meat.

3 You need to bring your own tools

scissors/cooker, forceps, balance (0.1-100 g), purified water, pipette (1-5 ml), timer

4 Sample determination

(1) Grind or chop the sample to be tested; weigh 1 g to 10 ml centrifuge tube with balance;

(2) Add purified water to 10 ml scale, cover, shake up and down vigorously, filter into the sample cup with filter paper after 2 minutes;

(3) Absorb 2 ml of filtrate in a colorimetric tube with a straw or pipette, add 2 drops of reagent A, shake well and let stand for 3 minutes to observe the phenomenon.

(4) Judgment result: If the solution remains clear and transparent blue, it is determined to be healthy fresh meat;

if the blue solution appears white cloudy or peptone-like, it is determined to be unhealthy fresh meat.

5 Precautions

(1) Purified water or distilled water is recommended for testing water and dilution water.

(2) This product is only used for initial screening, and the final result is subject to the relevant national standard methods.

6 Storage conditions and valid period

Reagents are stored in a cool and dry place at 4-30 ° C away from light;

valid period is 12 months, see outer packaging for production date.
