1 Principles and Uses

Metronidazole Detection Card is used for rapid detection of metronidazole residues in poultry egg samples. This product is made by applying the principle of competitive inhibition colloidal gold immunochromatography to detect metronidazole in samples. After the sample solution is dropped into the sample hole of the detection card, the metronidazole in the sample solution binds to the gold standard antibody, thereby preventing the gold standard antibody from binding to the metronidazole conjugate on the cellulose membrane. The result is judged according to the color development depth of the T-line and the C-line.

4 sample pretreatment

(1) Break the fresh eggs into the cup and mix well (egg white and egg yolk are well mixed);

(2) Absorb 0.2 grams of the well-mixed egg sample in the detection tube, and then add 1.2 mL dilution;

(3) Vibrate violently for 1 minute or repeatedly suck the liquid in the detection tube with a dropper (not less than 10 times), which is the liquid to be tested;

5 sample detection

(1) Tear open the aluminum foil bag of the detection card, take out the detection card/gold standard microporous/dropper (a total of 3 kinds of consumables), and place it on a flat and clean table.

(2) with a pipette or a dropper in an aluminum foil bag to absorb the above test solution 120 µL (about 4 drops) in the gold standard micropores, blow with a dropper until the purplish-red substance in the pores is completely dissolved, let stand horizontally, and wait for the reaction for 2 minutes; All the liquid in the gold standard micropores is added dropwise to the sample well (S) of the detection card; (3) Start timing after adding the sample, and the result is judged after 8-10 minutes at room temperature, and the interpretation is invalid at other times.

6 the result is judged

negative (-): In the detection window, the purple line appears on the control line (C), and the color development of the detection line (T) is consistent with or deeper than that of the C line, indicating that the concentration of metronidazole in the sample is lower than the detection limit or no metronidazole

Positive (+): In the detection window, the purplish-red line appears on the C line, and the T line does not develop color or is lighter than the C line, indicating that the concentration of metronidazole in the sample is higher than the detection limit.

invalid: In the detection window, the control line (C) does not appear purplish-red line.

7 Precautions

(1) Products that have expired or the aluminum foil bag is damaged should not be used.

(2) When the test card is taken out of the refrigerator, it should be restored to room temperature and opened. The opened test card should be used as soon as possible to avoid moisture.

(3) Do not touch the white film surface in the center of the test card.

(4) The liquid extraction dropper should not be mixed to avoid cross-contamination.

(5) Please keep the reagent in a place that is not easy for children to contact.

(6) If you need to directly test the standard product, please prepare it with the dilution provided in the kit.

8 Storage and shelf life

(1) Storage conditions: 4-30 ° C Store in the dark, do not freeze.

9 Specific instructions

This product does not cross-react with chloramphenicol, streptomycin, tetracycline, sulfonamide and other drugs; when the content of tinidazole reaches 40 ppb or more, it is positive; when the content of ornidazole reaches 100 ppb or more, it is positive.
