Furazolidone Metabolite Colloidal Gold Rapid Detection Card is a rapid screening product developed based on colloidal gold immunochromatography technology in the field of food safety detection. It is mainly used to detect the residue of furazolidone metabolite (AOZ) in food. As a simple and efficient detection tool, it plays an important role in ensuring food quality and safety and preventing risks.
From the technical principle, the core of this detection card is the use of antigen-antibody specific binding reaction. The nitrocellulose membrane (NC membrane) in the detection card is coated with the conjugated antigen of furazolidone metabolite, while the colloidal gold marker pad is fixed with the antibody of furazolidone metabolite. When the sample (such as meat, aquatic products, dairy products and other food extracts) is added dropwise to the sample hole of the detection card, it will move along the membrane surface and pass through the colloidal gold labeling pad and NC membrane in turn. If there is a furazolidone metabolite in the sample, it will competitively bind to the conjugated antigen check point on the NC membrane with the colloidal gold labeling antibody; if there is no residue in the sample, the colloidal gold labeling antibody will bind to the conjugated antigen on the NC membrane, forming a red band on the detection line (T line), and the quality control line (C line) will also develop color, and the result is positive; conversely, if the T line does not develop color, only the C line develops color, the result is negative. The entire reaction process is usually completed within 10-15 minutes, without the need for complex instruments, and the results can be interpreted by the naked eye.
Structurally, the detection card is assembled from a sample pad, a colloidal gold binding pad, an NC film, an absorbent pad, and a PVC plate. The sample pad is used to adsorb the sample solution. The colloidal gold binding pad carries labeled antibodies. The NC film is the core reaction area. The absorbent pad promotes the liquid flow through siphon action, and the PVC plate provides support for the whole. This design makes the detection card small and portable, which can realize on-site rapid detection.
has a wide range of application scenarios. It is mainly suitable for raw material acceptance, processing process monitoring, and on-site sampling and circulation screening by market supervision departments. Especially in meat (such as pork, chicken), aquatic products (such as fish and shrimp), dairy products and other foods that are easily contaminated by furazolidone drugs, it can quickly identify the risk of residues, provide preliminary screening basis for subsequent accurate detection (such as high performance liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry), and avoid substandard products from entering the market.
Compared with traditional detection methods, the furazolidone metabolite colloidal gold rapid detection card has significant advantages: First, the detection speed is fast, no complicated pretreatment and equipment are required, and the results are produced within 15 minutes; second, it is easy to operate, only need to add samples and observe the results, and ordinary personnel can master it after simple training; third, it has high sensitivity and can detect ng-level residues; fourth, it has low cost and is suitable for large-scale screening. These characteristics make it an indispensable part of the food safety rapid detection system, helping to build the first line of defense for food quality and safety.
