First, the method principle
Rice gradually oxidizes with the extension of storage time, so that the amount of free fatty acids contained increases, and the pH value decreases. The pH value of new rice is 6.5-6, while the pH value of aged rice is 5.8-6. The acid-base indicator can be used to identify the freshness of rice.
Second, the scope of application
This kit is suitable for the rapid qualitative detection of rice freshness.
3. Detection step
Take the rice to be tested at the 1.0 mL scale line of the detection tube, absorb 1 mL of reagent A with a straw, add it to the detection tube, shake it vigorously for 1-2 minutes, and observe the color in the detection tube. Green indicates that the rice is fresh rice, orange or yellow indicates that the rice is aged rice. For specific judgment standards, please refer to the colorimetric card.
IV. Precautions
All reagents in this kit should avoid contact with the skin. If you accidentally contact, please rinse with a lot of water immediately.
