1. Method Principle

The pH value of water hair aquatic products soaked with industrial alkali is generally 8.0. This kit uses the principle that industrial alkali can make the acid-base indicator red and do not fade, so as to determine whether the alkaline water products have been soaked with industrial alkali.

This kit is suitable for the rapid detection of industrial alkali in water hair aquatic products.

1, take a test paper, inserted into the water hair aquatic products soaking solution in 1-2 s, take out, and the standard colorimetric card reading pH value, if the pH value of 8.0 is no need for follow-up testing, if the pH value > 8.0 is a suspect sample, the next step of detection;

2, draw 1 ml of suspect sample in the colorimetric tube, add 1 drop of reagent A dropwise, shake well, at this time the colorimetric tube solution turns red, then add 3 drops of reagent B dropwise, shake vigorously for 1 minute, observe the color of the solution in the colorimetric tube, if fading occurs or the color becomes light, edible alkali is added, if the color remains unchanged, industrial alkali is added.

1, take a test paper paste on the surface of aquatic products, so that the test paper is wet, compared with the standard colorimetric card to read the pH value, if the pH value is 8.0, no follow-up testing is required, if the pH value is > 8.0 It is a suspicious sample for the next step;

2, weigh 2.0 g of shredded or minced suspicious sample in the sample cup, add 4 mL of pure water, shake and mix for 2 minutes. Take 1 ml of supernatant in the colorimetric tube, add 1 drop of reagent A dropwise, shake well, the solution in the colorimetric tube turns red at this time, add 3 drops of reagent B dropwise, shake vigorously for 1 minute, observe the color of the solution in the colorimetric tube, if fading or light color occurs, sodium carbonate is added, if the color remains unchanged, sodium hydroxide is added.

IV. Precautions

1. After adding reagent A dropwise, shake well and pay attention to observe the color depth of the solution, so as to judge whether the detection result has a fading reaction;

2, when sampling, try to choose the water-based aquatic product immersion liquid as the detection sample. If the immersion liquid cannot be obtained, the water-based aquatic product can be selected as the detection sample.

The detection limit of sodium hydroxide in this kit: 0.1 g/L.
